These terms govern RTLright and rtlright.com, provided by StarkOne LLC. They explain the software licence, purchases and support. Mandatory consumer rights continue to apply.
1. Using RTLright
RTLright is a macOS keyboard utility. It requires the permissions described in the app. Direction controls support Outlook, Mail, Word, Chrome, Safari, TextEdit and Notes in compatible text fields. Secure password fields and inaccessible editors are excluded. Results depend on macOS, the keyboard layout and the application version. Evernote is not supported.
2. Software licence
We grant you a non-exclusive licence to use an authorised copy of RTLright for its intended purpose. The software, brand and documentation remain the property of their rights holders. Do not resell unauthorised copies, misrepresent the product, attack our services or bypass lawful access controls. Rights permitted by mandatory law and licences for included open-source components are unaffected. The 14-day trial begins when the app first registers online. One trial is available per installation identity; reinstalling normally does not reset it. After expiry, shortcuts require a valid purchased or gift license. Settings and activation remain accessible. A paid license covers one computer at a time; remove it in app settings to free the slot. Gift licenses have the computer limit and duration provided with the code, starting at first activation. Keep codes private.
3. Annual and lifetime licenses
A one-year license allows continued use of versions released within one year of confirmed payment, on one computer at a time, and includes updates and support during that year. After coverage ends, those versions remain usable with periodic license verification; newer versions require a new purchase. A lifetime license covers one computer at a time and includes every version, update and support for as long as StarkOne LLC distributes RTLright; it is not limited to a coverage year. Both are one-time payments with no automatic renewal. The price and currency appear before checkout. We do not promise particular future features or compatibility with every editor.
4. Payments and fulfilment
StarkOne LLC is the seller. Stripe processes payment details; we do not receive your full card number. The currency and final amount, including applicable tax shown at checkout, are displayed before payment. A purchase becomes confirmed after the server verifies successful payment. Your confirmation page provides a reference and coverage dates. Contact [email protected] if confirmation is missing; a payment redirect alone is not confirmation. Your confirmation page provides an activation code, purchase reference and coverage dates. Enter the code in RTLright → Settings → License & trial.
5. Cancellations and refunds
Request cancellation, a refund or help with a duplicate or unauthorised charge through the contact form’s cancellation/refund topic or [email protected]. Include your purchase reference and purchase email, never card details. We handle requests under applicable consumer law, including mandatory remedies for faulty or misdescribed products. Nothing here waives a statutory cooling-off right or requires you to waive one to download. Any additional offer displayed at purchase forms part of your order.
6. Updates and support
While running, RTLright can check for signed updates every six hours; you can disable automatic checks or check manually. Installing an update requires the app’s update flow. Support covers the product’s documented behaviour and supported applications. We do not guarantee a particular response time, uninterrupted availability or control over third-party applications. Internet access is required for initial trial registration, activation and periodic verification (normally every six hours while running). A successfully verified license works offline for up to 30 days, never past its expiry. The trial works offline only until its original 14-day expiry. Revoked licenses stop at the next check or when the cached authorization expires. Fully refunded purchases have their licenses revoked, subject to mandatory rights.
7. Privacy and your writing
Keyboard processing runs on your Mac. Typed text is not uploaded. First-launch registration, contact requests, purchases and essential administration cookies are described in the privacy policy. You are responsible for information you choose to submit in a support request.
8. Responsibility
Use reasonable care and keep backups of important documents. To the extent permitted by law, the utility is provided as available, without a promise that all software combinations will work. We do not exclude liability for fraud, intentional misconduct or any liability or consumer remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded.
9. Changes and ending use
You can stop using and uninstall RTLright at any time. We may update these terms for future use and give appropriate notice of material changes. A change will not retroactively remove rights from an existing paid purchase. Any suspension for misuse must respect applicable law.
